Misan Rewane
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Misan is passionate about using education to impact youth and effect change. A Nigerian, she previously worked at Monitor Group, Technoserve, Bridge International Academies, and The Center for Public Policy Alternatives. She has also co-founded IMPACT Initiative (a youth development non-profit), and Designing Futures (an education incubator). Misan has received degrees from Stanford University and Harvard Business School.
Somto Ogbonna
PEOPLE LEAD
Somto is passionate about impacting people as well as transforming the customer service industry. Somto heads the People department at WAVE before which he was an In-house trainer. Prior to WAVE, he worked as the Customer Care/Fundraising Officer for Kizito Care and Support Initiative, an NGO focused on impacting their surrounding communities through education and health care. Somto holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration and Accounting from Troy University.

Ebehi Ugberaese
ACADEMY OPERATIONS
Ebehi loves to organize and serve others (humanitarian service) which is why she belongs to an NGO called WWW (Women Who Win. An NGO that supports and inspires women, especially teenage Nigerian girls in areas of hygiene and setting up small scale businesses). She coordinates training and academy operations at WAVE. Prior to WAVE she worked at Banksome Global Resources as a project manager/site engineer (Construction of residential and commercial apartments). She’s a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Ambrose Alli University, and holds an executive masters in Prince2 and PMP introduction certificate. She’s also a graduate member of the Nigeria society of Engineers.

Kelvin Bob-Manuel
COMMUNICATIONS
Kelvin has a passion for radio broadcasting and the use of social media. He coordinates outreach activities which comprises working with religious institutions, military quarters (barracks) and everything social media in creating awareness about WAVE. Before WAVE, he interned at the community radio station in school and was also an entertainment correspondent for a lifestyle magazine (IDLEWILD). He holds a B.A in English from the University of Lagos and is an Alumnus of WAVE Academy.

Ifeanyi Okafor
ACADEMY OPERATIONS
Ifeanyi has a B.Sc. in Microbiology from Delta State University. Prior to WAVE She taught Biology during her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Membership. Ifeanyi is passionate about working with young people, and she enjoys good food and good music.
Anthonette Agonsi
CAREER SERVICES
Anthonette has six years of experience in HR, administration and psychology. She earned a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and is a certified customer relationship management professional. As admissions/outreach officer, she helps communicate WAVE’s mission to young people, enlightening them about opportunities and job placements. She a strong passion for youth development and enjoys focusing on the topics of social enterprise, corporate social responsibility, human rights and justice, fashion and arts. Her dream is to see a Nigeria with numerous opportunities for youths.

Mercy Titus
FINANCE LEAD
Mercy is passionate about business sustainability and leads the Finance team at WAVE. Prior to WAVE, she has worked with Ernst and Young, Nigeria in the Audit/Advisory sector carrying out External Audit and Regulatory compliance projects for organisations in the financial service sector. In the past, she has worked to raise funds for cancer care with Marie Curie and also as a peer health educator on female reproductive health and rights with Girls Power Initiative(GPI). She is a Member of ACCA and has received degrees from Oxford Brookes and the University of Wales.
Ruth David
ADMISSIONS
Ruth works on outreach and admissions processes. Her role involves informing young, unemployed individuals about the work of WAVE and undertaking the processes necessary for their admission into the WAVE program. Ruth’s contribution to WAVE is geared towards bettering the lot of the average African youth today. Having had a personal struggle as an African Youth trying to find her footing. Ruth is passionate about developing human capital and capacitating youth to perform at a high level in work engagements. Ruth is keen on creating economic opportunities for youth in her communities. Ruth holds a B.Sc in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Benin (Nigeria), and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, CIPM.

Osarume Akenzua
Corporate Training Lead
Osarume Akenzua is a Soft skills Trainer and Life Coach. With a background in Legal Education (and called to the Nigerian Bar six years ago), he uses his advocacy skills to influence both young people and organizations to adopt soft skills training as a performance booster on and off the job. Osarume has worked extensively with over 40 businesses over the last 3 years to advise, and train on the importance of talent learning and development, especially in soft skills.
Osarume is also an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner and a member of the Life Coaching Association of Nigeria. He has worked with numerous prominent companies, in his role as Corporate training Lead at WAVE Academy; some of which include American International School, Uber, ALARA, GTBank, Google and Vital Products Plc. He has also worked on projects such as the ReadySetWork Initiative for final year university students, organized by the Office of the Special Adviser, Education, Lagos state.
