Our 4 Academy teams continue to run as innovation labs testing how to increase the impact, scale and financial sustainability of the WAVE model. Progress highlights over the past 6 months include:
1. Academy 1 operating at 80% capacity (48 trainees/batch) and reaching cost coverage levels of ~30%.
2. Mobile Academy team expansion pilot in Ibadan (Nigeria’s 3rd most populous city) in our first demand-led partnership with a large retailer, FoodCo. Promising early results with ~50% of trainees securing job offers by graduation.
